Round table discussion on Teaching and Learning Georgian as a foreign language

Language School was invited to the roundtable discussion on teaching and learning Georgian as a foreign language, which was held with the association of the American Councils and CRRC (Caucasus Research Resource Centers). The representative of the Language School, director Nana Shavtvaladze, discussed the main aspects of the language, why it can be hard for a foreign language speaker to learn Georgian and what types of the methods can be used to make it easy to study Georgian. The linguists and teachers of the Georgian language, who were attending the meeting also stated their opinions and discussed different factors of learning the language, also the methods that should be used while teaching a new language to the non-native speaker.
